Highlights of some of the ECHO projects

Education
	In 2004 ECHO is giving 100 stipends to poor and meritorious students of high school, college and university. Students for stipend are selected through an elaborate process from institutions all over Bangladesh. The project is currently underway.
Healthcare
	Establish mother and child health care center to unprivileged
	Provide free healthcare services to the people in the village under poverty
	Health education for students, women and children
Skill Development
	Provide training to poor and socially disadvantaged people on: Computer, Electrical trade, Automobile, Driving, Refrigerator and air-conditioning (RAC) repair
	Provide Training on Sewing and Embroidery
	Job Placement
	Provide training on assistance for poor students for self employment
Self Reliance
	Strengthen sustainable socio-economic development of targeted household
	To facilitate and adopt alternative livelihood option for their better living
	To increase the income and production of the target beneficiaries and communities through sustainable income generating activities
	To establish effective networking with various Govt. and Non-Govt. organizations to access common property resources and better services for those poor peoples
	To enhance social and economical security of grassroots’ level people
	Ensure better prices of their agriculture produces through introducing different marketing technique
	Goat raring, Rickshaw Van driving with small scale agro-based business, Sewing machine, Poultry and livestock etc
